We help people with their housing needs.
Housing Counseling and Assistance. Our HUD-certified housing counselors work with individuals and families facing economic hardships to prevent homelessness and to provide rental and default-mortgage counseling. For families interested in owning their own home in the future, an informational and educational homebuyers class is offered. Clients wishing to establish budgets and goals for financial self-sufficiency may be interested in the financial literacy classes. Services may provided through Emergency Solutions, Housing Urban Development, Continuum of Care Homeless Council, Community Service Block Grant and others.

Weatherization. Helping to conserve energy is the goal of our weatherization program. Qualifing low-income homeowners are eligible to receive a one time home weatherization assessment to determine measures that can reduce energy consumption and lower energy bills. Energy education counseling is available for those wishing to learn how to save money using low or no cost measures or willing to invest in Energy Star appliances.
Energy Assistance. Our energy assistance program serves more than 3,000 households a year. Energy assistance may be provided through Project Share, Project Help or Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program. Ask about energy counseling with low/no-cost tips to reduce your energy consumption.
